What could be better than 4 clean sides? How about 10? Introducing The Deka Lamp, one of the most uniquely handcrafted designs at Dan Cordero’s Handcrafted Lighting. As perfect and complex as its decagonal shape, this lamp showcases several exceptional features:

Crafted from quality red oak wood, The Deka contains a hidden cord creatively integrated into the wood allowing the lamp to pivot and stand on any of its 10 sides. Cradled in a premium antique brass socket with functional paddle knob, your Edison bulb can lean at a 36-degree angle today and a 180-degree angle tomorrow! The Deka also comfortably sits on any flat surface, but has an option for wall hanging (by request).

Looking for your next art installation? The Deka has friends. Create a trio with The Deka Lamp plus an added small and medium wooden decagon. You can also select just the small or the medium to accompany your newest lamp.

Deka Lamp Spin

All lighting and hardware products are assembled in our facility in Charlotte, NC. When an order is placed, it enters a production queue and typically requires 2-3 weeks to complete (excluding our custom globe chandeliers which have an 6 week lead time). We do not stock inventory, and each item is produced just for you by an expert artisan. Our process involves activities such as powder coating, woodworking, chemical aging, lacquering, painting, wiring, testing, packaging, and more, and we do our very best to complete your order in a timely fashion.

For larger orders of 10 or more items, we will contact you if we are not able to meet our quoted lead time. If you need a fixture sooner or on a specific date, please feel free to contact us as soon as possible, and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

Expedited Chandelier Lead Time: 1 week / 3 weeks

Expedited Dome Lighting Lead Time: 5-7 days/ $50 per fixture

Shipping Transit Time: 2-5 Days
