Each fixture is hand-poured in-house using our signature lightweight grey concrete blend, showcasing the artistry and craftsmanship that define Cordero Home & Lighting. Despite its bold, sculptural form, this pendant is surprisingly lightweight for easy installation, making it a practical choice for both residential and commercial spaces.

Available in 18″, 20″, 24″, and 28″ sizes, the Kopernican provides exceptional durability and energy efficiency—surpassing traditional metal or glass alternatives in both strength and sustainability.

What sets the Kopernican (kuh-PUR-nih-kuhn) apart is its unmatched level of customization. While most concrete pendants offer limited design flexibility, the Kopernican features 8 interior finish options, including the pure Natural Gray Concrete as well as rich and elegant tones like Antique Brass, Champagne Mist, Gold, Honey Blonde, French Cream, Satin White, and the serene Alabaster. These finishes allow you to craft the perfect lighting effect—from warm and earthy to clean and modern.

Pair your interior finish with one of 6 hardware finishes, including Flat Black, Aged Brass, Brushed Nickel, and more, to design a fixture that feels truly personal and design-forward. Whether installed solo or in a series, this pendant complements kitchen islands, dining rooms, living spaces, entryways, and boutique interiors with effortless elegance.

Each fixture includes your choice of two LED bulbs:

White Globe bulb for a clean, contemporary glow

All lighting and hardware products are assembled in our facility in Charlotte, NC. When an order is placed, it enters a production queue and typically requires 2-3 weeks to complete (excluding our custom globe chandeliers and concrete lighting). We do not stock inventory, and each item is produced just for you by an expert artisan. Our process involves activities such as powder coating, woodworking, concrete pouring, chemical aging, lacquering, painting, wiring, testing, packaging, and more, and we do our very best to complete your order in a timely fashion.

For larger orders of 10 or more items, we will contact you if we are not able to meet our quoted lead time. If you need a fixture sooner or on a specific date, please feel free to contact us as soon as possible, and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

We worked with Dan while building a new house during the pandemic. At a time when everything was crashing around us with vendors and contractors, Dan was incredibly responsive, friendly, and patient. We had delays with electricians, issues with shipping related to COVID….the list goes on and on.
