Inspired by our bestselling Kopernican Concrete Pendant Light, the Kopernican Metal Pendant Light brings the same bold, sculptural silhouette to a new, exceptionally lightweight construction. Crafted from durable metal and finished by hand to recreate the organic texture and dimensional character of concrete, it delivers the unmistakable Kopernican look in a versatile new form.

Designed with the same signature shape, proportions, and sizes as our original concrete fixture, this version replaces the hand-poured concrete shade with a precision-formed metal dome. The exterior is then given a carefully applied concrete-inspired finish, creating the appearance of a substantial concrete fixture while remaining remarkably lightweight.

The result is a pendant that preserves the architectural presence of the original Kopernican while introducing an entirely new level of versatility—including expanded hanging options made possible by its lighter construction.

What makes this version of the Kopernican special is the finish. Rather than simply painting the shade gray, each metal dome receives a hand-applied concrete-inspired exterior finish designed to capture the depth, tonal variation, and raw character associated with our original concrete collection.

Because the finish is applied by hand, subtle variations in texture and tone are part of the design, giving each fixture individual character while maintaining a more consistent form and significantly lighter construction than poured concrete.

Three Ways to Hang It

The lightweight metal construction gives the Kopernican Metal Pendant even more flexibility when it comes to installation and design.

In addition to our classic metal rod suspension, the metal version introduces two additional hanging options: Fabric Cord and Metal Chain. Each method creates a distinctly different look while giving you greater freedom to tailor the fixture to your space.

Metal Rods provide the clean, structured appearance associated with our original Kopernican design. Their tailored, architectural look works beautifully in modern, transitional, and contemporary interiors.

Fabric Cord offers a softer, more relaxed suspension and provides added flexibility when precise drop lengths are important. This makes it an especially practical choice for vaulted or sloped ceilings, where multiple pendants may need different individual drop lengths in order for every shade to hang perfectly level. Rather than being limited by fixed rod increments, fabric cord allows each fixture to be adjusted to the exact height needed for a clean, balanced installation.

Metal Chain brings additional texture and visual weight to the fixture, creating a more collected and architectural appearance while still benefiting from the lighter metal shade.

Fabric Cord and Metal Chain are available in a variety of finish options, giving you even more ways to coordinate the suspension with the fixture hardware, cabinetry, furnishings, and other finishes throughout your space.
