After more than half a century of lighting open roads and late-night rides, this authentic vintage motorcycle headlight has been reborn as a striking, off-road floor lamp. Mounted on a hand-crafted teak wood tripod, the original headlight becomes both functional art and living history—an unmistakable statement piece for any space.

Designed to honor its past while embracing modern living, the Motorcycle Tripod Lamp remains true to its original lines, paint, and character—right down to the removable ignition key. Behind the scenes, the headlight has been carefully rewired with a new socket and bulb, delivering reliable illumination without compromising its heritage.

Thoughtful details elevate its versatility: a chrome side toggle switch allows for quick on-off control, while a discreet rear rotary dimmer lets you fine-tune the glow—from a soft ambient wash to a bold, focused beam. Every lighting and hardware piece is thoughtfully assembled at our facility in Charlotte, NC. After an order is placed, it moves into our production queue, with timelines varying due to the handcrafted nature of our work and current demand. Some custom designs may require additional time to complete.

As we do not maintain inventory, each piece is made to order by a skilled artisan. Our production process includes hand-pouring and curing custom concrete components, along with a range of detailed steps such as powder coating, woodworking, chemical aging, lacquering, painting, wiring, testing, and packaging. Each stage is carefully executed to ensure every fixture meets our exacting standards for quality, durability, and finish—so your order arrives thoughtfully crafted and ready to install.

For larger orders of 10 or more items, we will contact you if we are not able to meet our quoted lead time. If you need a fixture sooner or on a specific date, please feel free to contact us as soon as possible, and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

We worked with Dan while building a new house during the pandemic. At a time when everything was crashing around us with vendors and contractors, Dan was incredibly responsive, friendly, and patient. We had delays with electricians, issues with shipping related to COVID….the list goes on and on. I could go on and on (and I have many times to whoever will listen) but let me also comment on his amazing craftsmanship.
